After 15 years in retail, helping customers find exactly what they needed, Andrea’s career took an unexpected turn during the Covid lockdowns. It was then that she discovered her true calling in the world of numbers and spreadsheets.

In 2022, Andrea earned her bookkeeping certificate from Georgian College and soon found her home with the Gardhouse Financial team. Her retail background gives her a unique advantage—she doesn’t just see numbers on a page, but understands the real people and businesses behind them. Now, she’s expanding her expertise into tax preparation, adding another valuable skill to her growing toolkit.

However, Andrea is more than just a numbers person. With a Business of Fashion diploma from Humber (2006) and a Bachelor’s in Art History from McMaster (2011), she brings creativity and style to everything she does.

When she’s not helping small businesses thrive, Andrea enjoys getting lost in a good book, planning her next adventure, or chasing after her young son with her husband by her side. After all, it’s about balance—a principle this bookkeeper knows well.
